qsub: Unknown queue MSG=cannot locate queue

• • You might also need to wait for a period.
  • Check if the pbsserver is running: /etc/init.d/pbsserver status
  • Check if the queue excists:
    • run: qmgr
    • type: list queue <the queue>

After qsub -q betest test.sh: invalid home directory '/user/betest000'

(Error comes in the /var/mail/betest000)

• • This occurs if /grid_mnt/user is not mounted.
  • Run mount my.ce:/user /mnt/tmp to test if it can be mounted.
    • Case: reason given by server: Permission denied => check /etc/export on the CE (and fix in the templates).
