You can find here some useful informations on how to become a GOC Certified Site.

Fill a form

Just ask Ron Trompert trompert@sara.nlNOSPAM. He will send the form by email. More info is available from the EGEE Northern European NOC: roc@egee-ne.orgNOSPAM.

GOCDB

The form will help creating an entry of your site in the GOCDB located at https://goc.gridops.org/. From there, Site Managers can edit informations related to their site.

Different steps

At the beginning your site will be tagged as in Pre-production and Uncertified. After some successfull tests (basically all the Site Functionnal Test suite) you will get Certified and in Production. For all these tests to be successfull, you will have close contacts with Jules and his colleagues.

Tips

RGMA monitoring

To enable rgma monitoring, the site administrator should send a mail to lcg-support@gridpp.rl.ac.ukNOSPAM for the deny list to be changed and have his/her site included. Because, unless a site has been explicitly added to the RGMA "white list", it will fail publishing data into RGMA.

In the email, specify the full MON BOX name as well as the full DOMAIN.

For instance:

"Could you please add CY01-LCG2 to the RGMA registry ? - MON BOX : mon101.grid.ucy.ac.cy - DOMAIN : grid.ucy.ac.cy Thank you."
