What personal data do we collect ?

• All services delivered through a web interface : IP addresses of visitors + date and time of each visit
• VOMS service : collects DN, CA and validity dates of personal X509 certificate + name, professional address, institution, email
• User Interfaces : for each user : login, SSH pubkey(s); for each user session : source IP address, dates and times of beginning and end of sessions

How long do we keep personal data ?

• Web servers :
  • data are kept in logfiles
  • logfiles older than one year are automatically removed by a cron script

• VOMS service :
  • data are kept in the VOMS database as long as the user needs to access the BEgrid services
  • data related to expired accounts are kept for 5 years

• User Interfaces :
  • data are kept in logfiles
  • logfiles older than 1 year are automatically removed by a cron script

For what purposes do we process personal data ?

• Web servers :
  • computing visit statistics
  • investigations in case of security incident

• VOMS service :
  • authentication and authorization(s) of users regarding the BEgrid resources
  • usage statistics by categories of users for reporting activities

• User Interfaces :
  • investigations in case of security incident
